Accounts

Accounts lists every account the project follows, in groups, with its figures for the period you choose. Here you add, organize, pause and delete accounts, and decide how many posts of each one stay in tracking.

The table

Each row is an account, with its platform's icon. The columns are:

  • In tracking: how many of its posts are measured, with a pencil to change it.
  • Followers, from the profile's latest measurement.
  • Posts, Total views and Median views of the posts published in the period.
  • Engagement of those posts.
  • Activity (last 7 days): its posts day by day. A day after the last measurement shows as not measured yet. It doesn't mean the account didn't post.
  • Last measured. Each account is measured on its own schedule, so this time varies from row to row.

Press a column's heading to sort by it from high to low, again for low to high, and a third time to go back to your order. When some accounts are paused, Show accounts switches between All, In tracking and Paused. With groups, you can also filter by group.

The period

Accounts has its own period, apart from the Overview and Posts. It starts on Everything imported, every post OrganicDeck has for each account, so a quiet account never shows an empty row. Change it with the period picker above the table.

With Everything imported, an account's Median views is its usual views. The virality factor of each of its posts is measured against that figure. Everything imported is the history OrganicDeck has saved, not the account's whole history on its platform.

Groups and order

A group is a folder with a name. Groups keep accounts apart, for example by language, by product or the creators you pay, and the Overview can be read by group.

  • To create one, press New group, type a name and press Create group. You can also create one while adding accounts, with + New group.
  • To rename or delete a group, use the buttons on its heading in the table. Deleting a group keeps its accounts in the project, without a group.
  • To move accounts to another group, use Edit account, or select several and change Group in the selection bar.

Drag a row by its handle to change its place within its group. With the keyboard, use the up and down arrows. The order belongs to the project. Anyone in it can change it, and every list of accounts in OrganicDeck follows it. A new account, or one moved to another group, goes to the end.

Posts in tracking

OrganicDeck measures each account's newest posts, as many as you choose. Older posts keep their last measurement and stay in your history.

  1. Press the pencil in the account's In tracking column.
  2. Choose a number, or all its posts. The project's default is marked Default.

Keeping more posts reads the missing ones right away. They have to fit in your plan's videos and in this month's new videos, so the options that don't fit can't be chosen. The project's default is in Settings → Measurements and applies to every account without a number of its own.

If your project follows more videos than your plan has, for example after moving to a smaller plan, each measurement takes the newest posts of the whole project that fit. The column then says how many of the account's posts your plan measures. An account left out keeps its last numbers.

Pause an account

A paused account stops being measured and keeps its data. It doesn't take up videos in your plan. Pausing doesn't change what your Overview adds up. That depends on the accounts you choose there.

Pause from the three dots by the account's name, from its sheet, or for several accounts at once from the selection bar. Resume measures it again on your plan's schedule, if it fits in your plan.

The account's sheet

Press an account's name to open its sheet. It opens on the list's period and has its own period picker.

  • Tracking: how many posts are in tracking, the last measurement, how often it updates and how much of its history OrganicDeck has.
  • The period's figures: views, posts, engagement, hits and virals by virality factor, and median views, with a chart.
  • Top posts of the period, with their virality factor, and a link to all its posts in Posts.
  • Trend: posts, views, median and hits, period by period, as far back as its history goes.

From the sheet's header you can pause or resume the account, edit it and ask Intelligence about it.

Edit, select and delete

Edit account, in the account's menu or its sheet, has In tracking to pause or resume it, Group, and Only count posts that mention.

Only count posts that mention takes words, @mentions or #hashtags. Only the posts whose caption, or what OrganicDeck read in them, names one of them count in your metrics. The rest are still measured and stay out of your metrics. This helps with a creator who posts about several products. If you bring a post back by hand, the rule doesn't take it out again. The account's usual views still come from all its posts.

To change several accounts at once, check their boxes, or the one over the list to select every account shown. A bar appears with pause or resume, Group, Posts in tracking, Posts that count and Delete.

Delete account removes the account from this project. Its posts stop showing and counting in the project's results, and pending updates stop. Deleting frees its place in your plan's videos, but not this month's new videos.

Needs attention under Last measured means the account's last measurement failed. It's measured again on your plan's schedule. If it keeps failing, check the account on its platform. It may be private or deleted.
