Ask Intelligence

Intelligence answers questions about the posts your project follows. It works from the posts OrganicDeck measured and read, and each answer lists the posts it cites.

Open it from Intelligence in the sidebar. You can also start from a post with Ask Intelligence about this post in its detail, or from an account with Ask Intelligence about this account in its sheet.

What to ask

Ask the way you would ask a teammate who has seen every post. For example:

  • What do the posts that took off this month have in common?
  • Which hook should I repeat on @yourapp, and why?
  • Why did this post do so much better than its account's usual?
  • How do our creators' posts compare with our own accounts?
  • What do people ask in the comments of our top posts?

A new conversation also suggests questions built from your own posts, such as why a recent post took off or why an account's latest posts are below its usual.

Which accounts it looks at

Intelligence looks at every account in tracking in the project, in any group and on any platform. The accounts you picked for your Overview don't limit it.

To narrow a question, name what you mean in it: a group ("in the Creators group"), an account ("@yourapp"), a platform ("only on Instagram") or a period ("in the last 30 days").

Its figures count every post in your metrics, of any type. What a post says comes from its read, so it can only quote the slideshows and videos OrganicDeck read. See How OrganicDeck reads posts.

Point it at posts, accounts and images

Press Add to your message (the + beside the question), or type @ in the question, to attach something specific:

  • A post, an account or a group. Type @ and search. To find a post by account and period, use Search among all posts.
  • A link. Paste the link of a post or an account your project follows and it becomes an attachment. A link to an account you don't follow stays in the question as text, and Intelligence can look at that account.
  • An image. Upload or drop a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF of up to 5 MB, such as a draft slide, to compare it with what took off.

Attachments show in the question as tokens with their name, like @yourapp, and you can write around them. A question takes up to 12 attachments, 4 of them images.

How it answers

While it works, Intelligence shows each step, such as the posts it found and read or the groups it compared. Once the answer is in, the steps fold into one line you can open. Press Stop to cancel an answer on its way.

Every figure in an answer comes from your measurements, and the answer shows the posts it cites. Some answers include a chart built from the same results.

Beyond your project's posts, a step can also:

  • Read the most liked comments of a post on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook, without who wrote them.
  • Look at an account you don't follow, from its link on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook: its profile and its newest posts. This doesn't add the account to your project.
  • Read a web page you link in the conversation, your site, or an app's App Store or Google Play page. It doesn't open links it finds in posts or pages: paste the link you want it to read.

When you ask it to write a post

Intelligence doesn't write posts. If you ask for a slideshow, hooks or a script, it answers with the analysis and offers Write it in Slideshows. That opens Slideshows with the account, the reference and the topic filled in.

If you ask for something to paste elsewhere, like a table as CSV, it comes in a block with a Copy button.

Conversations

  • Your conversations are listed beside the chat. New conversation starts another one.
  • Rename or delete a conversation from its menu.
  • A follow-up question keeps what the conversation already found and read.

A conversation is private to you. Once you copy its link with Copy link, the members of the project can open it and read it, but only you can continue it. Copy link to this answer points to a single answer.

Questions per month

Each question you send uses one of your plan's questions for the month. A question that takes much more work can count as more than one. They renew on the 1st, and Settings → Plan shows how many you've used.

When they run out, a Questions top-up lets you keep asking. A top-up is used once the month's questions are gone, and it doesn't expire. Whoever manages billing buys it in Settings → Plan.

During the free trial you have the trial's own questions. Your plan's arrive when the trial ends. See Plans and billing.
