Posts

Posts lists every post of the accounts in your Overview selection, for the period you chose. Use it to look up a specific post, rank posts by any figure and decide which ones count in your metrics.

Find posts

  • The search looks in captions and account names. Press ⌘K on a Mac, or Ctrl K on other computers, to jump to it from any screen.
  • Type shows only slideshows or only videos.
  • The accounts and the period come from the filter bar, with the same selection as the Overview.
  • When you open Posts from a row of Hooks, a pill with that way of opening filters the list. Its X removes it.

If nothing matches, Clear filters or Show everything imported widens the list.

Sort and view

Posts are listed from the most recent. You can also sort them by Most viewed, Highest virality factor, Most saved, Most liked, Most shared, Most comments or Highest engagement. Posts with very few views go last when you sort by engagement, and their card says so.

Switch between Grid, with the covers, and List, with every figure in its own column. In the list, click a column heading to sort by it.

Export to CSV

CSV downloads every post that matches your filters, in the order on screen. The column headings follow the language you're using.

Leave posts out of your metrics

Some posts don't belong in your numbers, like a giveaway or a post about something else. Leave them out and they stop counting in the Overview and in your project's totals. They're still measured.

  1. Press Select.
  2. Click the posts. To take every post that matches your filters, press Select all N in the selection bar.
  3. Press Exclude from metrics.

The X in the selection bar, or Escape, stops selecting.

  • Once a post is out, the In metrics and Not in metrics switch appears over the list. Open Not in metrics, select posts and press Include in metrics to bring them back.
  • A single post can go out or come back from its detail too.
  • An account can have a rule that only counts the posts that mention certain words. The posts it leaves out are listed under Not in metrics, and their detail says which words they don't mention. If you bring one back, the rule doesn't take it out again. The rule is set on each account, in Accounts.
  • Posts out of your metrics don't show in Radar.

A post's detail

Click any post to open its detail. It shows:

  • Its slides or, for a video, its cover with Play. The video plays in its platform's own player, which only loads when you press it.
  • The Caption, and the Sound when the platform names one.
  • Its latest measurement: views, likes, comments, shares and saves, each as a share of the views, and its engagement.
  • What it says: how the post opens, the product it names, whether it has a call to action, and the text of each slide or what the video shows and says. How OrganicDeck reads posts explains where this comes from.
  • Why it took off, on posts at 2× their account's usual or more.
  • Observed trend: the post's views across its measurements. See the measurements lists each one with its change. Every point is a real measurement. There's no data before the first one, and drops in the counters are kept.

Its header has the actions: exclude it from your metrics or include it again, ask Intelligence about the post, Copy link and Open on its platform. You can save it as an idea, with a note and tags, from the same sheet.

When a post hasn't been read, the detail says why. OrganicDeck reads the newest posts each account keeps in tracking. To have older ones read, keep more posts per account in Settings → Measurements.
