Members and roles

Several people can work in one project. They all see the same accounts, posts and Radar, and each person keeps their own selection in the Overview. Owners manage who's in the project from Settings → Members.

Add a member

  1. Open Settings → Members.
  2. Write the person's email and, if you want, a name.
  3. Press Add member.

OrganicDeck emails them an invitation. Its link opens the sign-in page with their email filled in. They get a 6-digit code at that address and enter the project.

  • If the invitation can't be sent, the page shows a sign-in link instead. Press Copy link and send it to them yourself. They'll get the code at the email you added.
  • New people join as members. Until they sign in, their row says Hasn't signed in yet, and its menu has Resend invitation.
  • People get into a project only when an owner adds their email.

Names

The name you write when you add someone is the name this project uses for them. It shows wherever the project names that person, such as Members, the sidebar, saved ideas, shared reports and conversations, and it goes in their invitation. Other projects never see it.

To change it, open the menu at the end of their row and choose Change name. If the person already has a name of their own in OrganicDeck, the project shows that one and the option doesn't appear.

Owners and members

A project has two roles. Owners handle billing, the people in the project and how it presents itself. Members do everything else.

Only owners can:

  • Choose, change or cancel the plan, buy extras and manage billing.
  • Add and remove people, and change their role or name.
  • Change the project's website, description and logo.

Members can do everything else, including:

  • Add, pause, group, reorder and delete accounts.
  • Change how many posts per account stay in tracking, for one account or as the project's default.
  • Add, update and remove Pinterest boards, and remove images that anyone uploaded.
  • Write, rename and delete slideshows, including other people's.
  • Share reports and links, and connect TikTok accounts to send drafts.

A shared report can be turned off, and a TikTok account disconnected, by the person who set it up or by an owner. Intelligence conversations belong to their author. Others can read one only after its author copies its link, and they can't continue it.

Change a role or remove someone

Open the menu at the end of a person's row:

  • Make owner or Make member changes their role.
  • Remove from project takes them out. Their sessions in this project end at once, and their other projects don't change.

A project always keeps at least one owner. To make the last owner a member, or to remove them, make someone else an owner first.

How many people fit

Each plan allows a number of people, listed on the pricing page. Owners and members both count. When the project is full, adding someone tells you the limit. A larger plan makes room. See Plans and billing.

How people sign in

Everyone signs in with their email. OrganicDeck sends a 6-digit code to that address, and there's no password to remember. If the code doesn't arrive in a few seconds, check your spam folder. If it still doesn't show up, write to [email protected].
