DocumentationTeam and plan
Share links and reports
There are two ways to pass along what you see. Copy link is for people in your project. Share report is for anyone else, like a client or a manager, and doesn't need an account.
Links for your team
Copy link is in the filter bar of the Overview, Hooks, Patterns, Posts and Radar, and at the top of Accounts, a post's detail, an account's sheet, a slideshow and your images. In Intelligence you can copy a link to a whole conversation or to one answer.
- It copies a short link with the screen, its filters, the post or account open on top and the accounts you selected. Paste it in your team's chat.
- Only members of the project can open it. Anyone else sees a page saying the link isn't available.
- If the person has another project open, the link switches them to this one.
- The link opens with your selection of accounts. The saved selection of whoever opens it doesn't change.
Intelligence conversations
A conversation is private to the person who started it. Once its author copies the link to the conversation or to one of its answers, everyone in the project can read it. They can't continue it. To keep asking, they start their own.
Reports for people outside the project
- In the Overview, choose the accounts and the period.
- Press Share report, next to Export.
- Press Create link, then Copy.
Anyone with the link sees this Overview as it is today, without signing in. Save as PDF, on the report, prints it in landscape so you can attach it to an email or a deck.
What a report shows
A report is a snapshot of the Overview at the moment you created the link. It doesn't update and never adds accounts. It shows:
- The figures of the period, compared with the period before.
- The chart.
- The posts of the period that reached 2× their account's usual views or more, with why each one took off.
- Hooks.
- The account comparison.
It only names the accounts and groups it covers: your selection, or the one account the Overview was showing.
Turn off a report
- Each link works for 90 days, and the report says when it expires.
- The Share report dialog lists the project's Active links, who made each one and when it expires.
- Turn off stops a link right away. Whoever made it can turn it off, and so can the project's owners.
- An expired or turned off link shows that the report isn't available.
